In case you didn’t tune into The Washington Times’ nationally syndicated radio show “America’s Morning News” — heard in Washington on WTNT-AM 570 and coast-to-coast via the Talk Radio Network — here’s what two of Tuesday’s several guests told co-hosts Melanie Morgan and John McCaslin:
• Vince Flynn, best-selling author of the new thriller “Pursuit of Honor”: Mr. Flynn revealed that his favorite book-tour stop among hundreds across the country will forever be Washington, D.C., home to the cast of fictitious yet brave U.S. military and intelligence characters who appear in his books.
• Tom Nardone, author of “Extreme Halloween” and founder of ExtremePumpkins.com: Mr. Nardone described his series of books as the ultimate guides to making Halloween scary again. Among his favorite pranks: hiding in a trash can and popping out as trick-or-treaters approach for candy. In addition to the “Trash Can Costume,” he recommended the “Toilet Bowl of Candy,” “Fog Your Yard” and “Buried Alive.”
