Winchester Homes Inc. is building 58 single-family homes on quarter-acre sites at Stratshire Crossing in Aldie, a planned community with conservation areas, tot lots, playing fields and a fenced dog-run area. Shops and restaurants are not far away in downtown Leesburg, Dulles Town Center and the Chantilly/Centreville area.

Each home in this Loudoun County community will include a brick front, double-hung windows and a two-car garage.

Inside, all eight models feature four bedrooms and 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths; hardwood floors in the foyer; 9-foot ceilings on all three levels; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets, double wall ovens and granite counters in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile floors in the baths; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; a high-tech wiring system; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; programmable thermostats; and gas hot water.

The homes have about 2,673 to 3,608 finished square feet, with base prices from $459,900 to $532,900. Homeowner association fees are $80 per month.

The Oxford II model, with 3,295 square feet, is priced from $502,900. This home features a two-story foyer with stairs to the upper and lower levels, a study with a bay window and a living room and formal dining room defined by columns.

The main level also has an open family room, breakfast area and center-island kitchen with a walk-in pantry and an adjacent laundry room and half bath.

Upstairs, the master suite has a sitting room, a walk-in closet and a luxury bath.

Three more bedrooms and a second full bath complete this level.
