WASHINGTON | The Washington Nationals have made room on their 40-man roster for No. 1 draft pick Bryce Harper by moving right-handed pitcher Luis Atilano from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL. Tuesday’s move comes a day after the Nationals agreed to a major league contract with Harper, a 17-year-old power hitter who was the first junior college player to be taken with the top overall pick in baseball’s amateur draft. Harper agreed to a $9.9 million, five-year deal, including a $6.25 million signing bonus. Atilano is done for the season after having right elbow surgery. He went 6-7 with a 5.15 ERA in 16 starts in 2010.
