LOS ANGELES (AP) - “Toy Story 3” is about to set another box office record for The Walt Disney Co.
The company says the third movie in the Pixar series will pass $1 billion in worldwide ticket sales today (Friday).
Counted with “Alice in Wonderland,” it will be the second movie to pass the billion-dollar mark for Disney this year.
It also will make The Walt Disney Studios the only studio in history to have released two billion-dollar-plus movies in a single year.
“Toy Story 3” has become Disney’s third-biggest movie ever and is the best-grossing animated film of all time.
