NUGENT: Time for a Starting Over Commission

Fedzilla-free confab should recall the Founding Fathers

If we are going to save America for future generations of Americans, we need to reverse course and start over. We need to ask fundamental questions and demand even more basic answers. We need sound, pragmatic recommendations that will put America back on solid ground. And then we need to educate the American public and inspire it to put heat on our politicians to implement the recommendations.

Pogo once said, “We have met the enemy, and he is us.”

Let’s start over. It may be our last, best hope.
