WASHINGTON | No. 19 Georgetown has suspended two players for a game for their roles in a pregame skirmish.

The school did not say which players are being punished. Team spokeswoman Barbara Jonas said the school’s administration “did not feel it was fair to name the players” — even though it will be obvious when they are not in uniform for Saturday’s game against DePaul.

Players from both teams scuffled more than an hour prior to the Hoyas’ game against Louisville on Saturday. The incident was caught on camera, and the suspensions were handed out based on a review of the tape by administrators and the coaching staff.

Georgetown also said its players will be told to stay at their designated end of the court during warmups at future games.
