WASHINGTON (AP) — Anti-abortion protesters are gathering in Washington on the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision.
The ruling established the nationwide right to abortion 37 years ago. Organizers with March for Life say they will hold a rally at the National Mall on Friday and march down Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court and U.S. Capitol.
The group says abortion opponents are marching “on behalf of the innocent preborn boys and girls” and demanding Roe v. Wade be overturned.
