LOS ANGELES (AP) - A man accused of stealing jewelry from Julie Newmar has pleaded no contest to grand theft.
Robert Ouriel entered the plea Tuesday in Los Angeles and was sentenced to three years probation and 45 days of community service.
The actress spotted the stolen jewelry for sale on eBay and estimated it was worth $150,000.
Ouriel’s attorney Jeffrey Rubenstein says his client took the plea bargain so he could move on with his life.
A restitution hearing is scheduled for Sept. 14.
