OXON HILL, Md. | Prince George’s County authorities are closing a stretch of the Capital Beltway as they respond to a fatal car crash. Fire department spokesman Mark Brady says a car went over the right guardrail, killing one person on the inner loop of Interstate 495 just before the St. Barnabas Road exit in Oxon Hill Wednesday afternoon. Brady says officials are closing two lanes of the inner loop to allow emergency vehicles and state police to remove the body. He says they expect heavy congestion in that area.
