DAVIE, FLA. (AP) - The Miami Dolphins had six players miss practice time Wednesday.
Safety Chris Clemons (groin) and tight end Anthony Fasano (chest) sat out the entire workout. Coach Tony Sparano said both might be able to play against Tennessee on Sunday.
Limited in practice were tackle Jake Long (knee), linebacker Karlos Dansby (elbow) and two reserves _ cornerback Tyrone Culver (ankle) and receiver Roberto Wallace (knee).
Reserve defensive end Phillip Merling has made progress in his recovery from a torn Achilles’ tendon and might soon be activated, Sparano said. Merling had been expected to miss the entire season after going on the reserve non-football injury list in August.
