HOLY HULU!: CEO Jason Kilar says online video site Hulu is on pace to reap $240 million in revenue this year, up from $108 million in 2009.

ADS VITAL: Kilar says the site still makes most of its money from advertising, and that its ads and their messages are remembered more than those on regular TV. That’s partly because viewers are polled and given choices on what to watch.

GROWING MARKET: Research firm eMarketer estimates U.S. revenue from ads attached to online videos will grow 48 percent this year to $1.51 billion and 43 percent to $2.15 billion next year.
