SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Syracuse running back Delone Carter has had a misdemeanor assault charge against him reduced.
Carter, the Orange’s leading rusher, was charged after a one-punch fight that followed a snowball-throwing incident on campus.
He also was suspended from school and later worked out a settlement with the university that called for him to perform 200 hours of community service. He rejoined the team in August.
