MIAMI (AP) - A look at the Miami Heat after their 96-70 win over the Orlando Magic on Friday night:
Record: 2-1.
The Big 3: Dwyane Wade scored 26 points, LeBron James added 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds, and Chris Bosh scored 11. Together, they alone outscored Orlando’s entire starting lineup 52-37.
Noteworthy: James played without the compression sleeve that has helped protect his right elbow, the one that gave him so many problems in last season’s playoffs.
Quotable: “They didn’t collude to do anything. They decided to use their free agency and try to win.” _ NBA Commissioner David Stern, on how James, Wade and Bosh teamed up in Miami.
Next up: Miami visits New Jersey on Sunday.
