I attended the recent Glenn Beck rally and the One Nation Rally mentioned in Robert Knight’s column “More than a litter bit of difference” (Commentary, Wednesday). At the second one, I thought I was back in the 1960s again.

It would appear that the National Park Service and security forces expected the worst. Security was doubled. The fencing was tripled to enforce crowd control, but I guess they couldn’t prevent the litter. This clearly was a collection of the best that Woodstock had to offer. The only things missing were the mud and the rock music. The really scary part is that a fraction of this crowd has put on three-piece suits and is running the country.
