WHO‘S LEAVING: Lorrie Norrington, president of eBay Marketplaces. The business is eBay’s largest and includes its namesake auction website and other e-commerce sites.
HER ROLES AT EBAY: Norrington started at eBay in 2005, when eBay bought Shopping.com, a comparison-shopping company that had just named her CEO. She was named president of eBay International, then president of eBay Marketplaces operations, before heading marketplaces for two years.
WHY IT MATTERS: EBay is in the midst of revitalizing eBay.com, so Norrington’s exit will mean a tougher job for remaining executives for now.
