NEW YORK (AP) - Dan Uggla has extended his hitting streak to 27 games with an infield single against the New York Mets.
The Atlanta Braves second baseman chopped a ball down the line that rolled slowly to third baseman David Wright, who gloved it without a throw.
Uggla extended his streak immediately after teammate Freddie Freeman ran his own streak to 20 games with a broken-bat single Saturday night.
