Rhode Island’s top scorer suspended indefinitely

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Senior guard Jamal Wilson, Rhode Island’s leading scorer, was suspended by coach Jim Baron for breaking unspecified team rules. Baron plans to re-evaluate Wilson’s status on the team over the next week. Wilson, from Norristown, Pa., averaged 17.5 points per game.
