SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. (AP) - Tim Lincecum looked forward to finally facing live hitters, even if they were his teammates.

The two-time NL Cy Young Award winner arrived at Scottsdale Stadium on Saturday, joining the rest of the World Series champions.

The Giants are now reunited at spring training. This is their first time on the field together since winning it all last year in an improbable title run. Rain threatened the club’s first full-squad workout on a dreary, windy day in the desert.

New shortstop Miguel Tejada started work on a back field at 8 a.m., taking ground balls and doing individual work more than two hours before the team got going as a group.
