VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — Ocean Breeze Waterpark in Virginia Beach has been bought by two former Six Flags executives who plan to redevelop the attraction.

Media outlets report that Kieran Burke and Gary Story’s redevelopment plan that includes a multimillion-dollar expansion this summer.

Burke and Story announced the acquistion in a news release. Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed.

Details of the redevelopment will be announced in early February.

Burke fornerly served as Six Flag’s chief executive officer. Story formerly was the company’s chief operating officer.

Ocean Breeze opened in 1974.
