Pulte Homes is building 241 town homes and 57 single-family homes on 6,500- to 7,500-square-foot sites at East Gate in Chantilly, next to the East Gate Marketplace, which has shops and restaurants. East Gate also is near golf courses and commuter routes. Plans call for a swimming pool, clubhouse, playgrounds and a fitness center in the community.
Each town home in this Loudoun County community will include a brick water table, 6-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.
Inside, all four town-home models feature three bedrooms, 2½ or 3½ full baths; hardwood or ceramic tile flooring in the foyer; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown and chair-rail molding; 42-inch flat-panel birch cabinets, ceramic tile flooring and granite counters in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in the baths; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; a high-tech wiring system; and gas heat and hot water.
The town homes have 2,049 to 2,711 finished square feet, with base prices from $338,990 to $412,900. Homeowner association fees are $110 per month.
The Stratford model, with 2,711 square feet, is priced from $412,900. This home has a two-story foyer. The main level features a center-island kitchen with a pantry and a breakfast area with a bay window at the front of the home. The kitchen is open to the family room, which has windows on two sides.
This level also has a separate dining room, a living room, a library and a powder room.
Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a luxury bath. Two more bedrooms, a second full bath and a laundry room complete this level.
The lower level has a finished recreation room, a full bath and a storage closet.
Buyers can add a three-level extension with a sunroom, master sitting room and recreation room. Options include a fireplace and a tray ceiling.
