Prince George's County police say a person died in a vehicle collision in the Accokeek area Friday afternoon.
Police say the driver of a Saturn traveling northbound on Indian Head Highway near Berry Road lost control of his vehicle and collided head-on with a pickup truck traveling southbound at about 5 p.m.
The driver of the Saturn was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
