Feds: Two arrested in plot to attack recruiting station

SEATTLE — The Justice Department says two men have been arrested in a plot to attack a military recruiting station in Seattle with machine guns and grenades.

Seattle resident Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, also known as Joseph Anthony Davis, of Seattle, and Walli Mujahidh, also known as Frederick Domingue Jr., of Los Angeles, were arrested Wednesday night.

Investigators say the two men planned to attack a station in Seattle where military enlistees are processed. The building also houses a daycare center.

The government says that agents became aware of the plot through someone the men tried to recruit as a participant and monitored the plot, and that the weapons the men purchased had been rendered inoperable.
