LAWRENCE, KAN. (AP) - No. 2 Kansas has a chance to clinch at least a tie for its seventh consecutive Big 12 regular-season title this week.

Beating No. 24 Texas A&M on Wednesday night would mean something else special for senior guard Tyrel Reed of Burlington, Kan. He could say he and his teammates won the league every year he played.

Kansas goes into the game with a 12-2 conference record. After meeting the Aggies, the Jayhawks will close the regular season on Saturday at No. 22 Missouri.
