BOSTON (AP) - Boston Celtics forward Glen Davis will miss a week with a left knee injury.

An MRI on Thursday showed that Davis has patellar tendinitis, but no major damage. Davis, in his third season out of LSU, was injured in the Celtics’ 115-103 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. He is averaging 11.6 points and 5.3 rebounds.

Boston also announced they have signed veteran forward Sasha Pavlovic, who has played in Utah, Cleveland, Minnesota, New Orleans and Dallas.

On Wednesday, Troy Murphy, another new addition to the team, made his debut. He had one point and two rebounds in 14 minutes.
