Prince George's County police on Monday announced they had arrested a D.C. man in connection with a homicide in Oxon Hill earlier this month.
Benjamin Vance of the 5200 block of North Capitol Street in Northeast Washington was arrested early Friday morning in the District and is awaiting extradition back to Prince George´s County.
He faces charges in the killing of James William Speaks Jr., 28, of Oxon Hill, who was found fatally shot a block from his home.
Police said officers found Mr. Speaks suffering from a gunshot wound in the 4400 block of Wheeler Road around 7 p.m. on May 11.
