NEW YORK (AP) - Emma Donoghue’s novel “Room” has sold 1 million copies, and the author has a short story collection scheduled for next year.

Little, Brown and Co. announced Wednesday that “Astray” will come out next fall. It says the stories will span “centuries and continents.”

“Room” was one of the most highly praised novels of last year. It tells of a 5-year-old boy who spends his whole life in one room.
