PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will not play against the New England Patriots because of broken ribs.
Vick misses his second straight game. Vince Young will start in his place.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) also are inactive for Philadelphia (4-6). Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha will start just three days after hurting his knee in practice and being carted off the field.
The Patriots (7-3) won’t have three starters: cornerback Devin McCourty (shoulder), safety Patrick Chung (foot) and center Dan Connolly (groin). Wide receiver Chad Ochocinco (hamstring) also is out.
Vick broke two lower ribs in a loss to Arizona on Nov. 13.
