TAMPA, FLA. (AP) - Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger is back after missing six games because of a right eye injury.
Pronger was in the lineup for Wednesday night’s game at Tampa Bay. He had been out since getting hit just outside his eye with a stick blade during a game against Toronto on Oct. 24.
The 37-year old Pronger, who experienced blurred vision after he was struck, has played in 1,163 NHL games.
Also, the Flyers announced that defenseman Braydon Coburn has agreed to terms on a multiyear contract extension.
