Autopsy inconclusive in Chicago Marathon death

CHICAGO — Initial autopsy results were inconclusive in the death of a North Carolina firefighter who died after collapsing 500 yards from the finish line of the Chicago Marathon.

William Caviness, 35, of Greensboro, was an avid runner who was competing in the marathon to raise money for the International Association of Fire Fighters Burn Foundation, which helps burn victims.
