BALTIMORE — Maryland Sen. Benjamin L. Cardin is reporting he has raised more than $700,000 in the last three months.
Mr. Cardin, a Democrat, announced his third-quarter fundraising report on Friday.
The senator, who is running for re-election in November 2012, reports that he has $2.3 million cash on hand.
Mr. Cardin says more than 1,300 people have donated to his campaign. He also says that nearly 80 percent of them are from Maryland.
