NEW YORK (AP) - In a story Oct. 18 about a controversy over Susan Sarandon referring to Pope Benedict XVI as a Nazi, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the actress gave Benedict a copy of the book on which her 1995 film "Dead Man Walking" was based. Sarandon said she gave the book to the previous pope, John Paul II.
