In Week 8, the Washington Redskins were dominated by the Buffalo Bills in Toronto, 23-0. Mike Shanahan suffered his first shutout loss in 267 games as an NFL coach. Quarterback John Beck, in his second start of the year, threw for 208 yards, but was sacked nine times and picked off twice.
