CHIEFS: Kansas City has put Pro Bowl safety Eric Berry on injured reserve and signed veteran Reshard Langford to provide depth in the defensive backfield. Berry tore the ACL in his left knee during the first quarter of Sunday’s season-opening loss to Buffalo. Langford went to training camp with the Chiefs after playing in six games the past two seasons, mostly on special teams.

TEXANS: Houston running back Arian Foster has returned to practice after missing the season opener because of a hamstring injury. Coach Gary Kubiak says Foster took the normal repetitions for a starter Wednesday. Kubiak says everything was “positive” and the key will be how Foster feels after practice Thursday.

DOLPHINS: Veteran cornerback Will Allen has re-signed with Miami after they were riddled for 517 yards passing by Tom Brady in the season opener. Allen, who missed all of last season with a knee injury, rejoined Miami on Wednesday after being cut last week. He replaces nickel back Benny Sapp, whose contract was terminated Tuesday.
