Ed Feulner’s opinion column of Sept. 13 on limited government was well worth reading (“The challenge of Constitution Day“).
This is especially true because of his inclusion of President Reagan’s statement on the critical importance of the words “We the People.” One of the nation’s current problems is that a man who has explicitly said the Constitution is flawed because it limits government now occupies the White House.
I’d like to add an amen to Mr. Feulner’s column. Four words of the Declaration of Independence are similarly important and also under attack. These four words are “endowed by our Creator.” We who have received such an endowment also have an obligation to preserve it.
