MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A family attorney says the wife of former Minnesota Viking Joe Senser was driving an SUV believed involved in a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian.
State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske says Amy Senser’s acknowledgement “answers the who, but it doesn’t answer the why or how.”
Thirty-eight-year-old Anousone Phanthavong (ah-NOO’-sahn PAN’-tah-wong) of Roseville, Minn., was killed Aug. 23 in Minneapolis. Officials say Phanthavong ran out of gas and was hit while walking on an exit ramp.
A news release from Halberg’s firm says the Senser family “extends their deepest sympathies to all those affected.”
