Recently, I had a conversation with an individual who was complaining about the state of politics in this great nation. Then this person proceeded to inform me that he has never voted and never intends to.

I was raised to believe that if you have the ability to vote and simply choose not to utilize that option, you forfeit your right to complain and be taken seriously. I am confident and quite optimistic that many people feel the same way.
