K. Hovnanian Homes is building 112 single-family homes on sites of 11,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet at Willowsford in Ashburn, Va., a 4,000-acre community with 2,000 acres of open space, including a working farm, 40 miles of trails and a dog park.

Its two community centers will have swimming pools and a commercial kitchen. Also included will be a boathouse on a lake, community gardens and an outdoor amphitheater.

Each home in this Loudoun County community will include a partial brick front, cement-board siding, professional landscaping, an asphalt driveway and a two-car garage.

Inside, all eight models include four bedrooms; 2½ baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen and breakfast area; 9- and 10-foot ceilings on all three levels; columns; crown and chair-rail molding; a gas fireplace; 42-inch flat-panel maple cabinets and granite or Corian counters in the kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in the baths; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; and gas heat.

The homes have 2,830 to 4,221 finished square feet, with base prices from $579,990 to $709,990. Homeowner association fees are $175 per month.

The Huntington model, with 4221 square feet, is priced from $709,990. This home has a front porch and a foyer flanked by the formal living room and formal dining room, each of which has columns.

Double doors open from the two-story central hall into a home office with an adjacent powder room. A separate rear foyer opens onto a covered porch. Nearby are an expansive two-story family room, a kitchen with an oversized island and a breakfast room with a second staircase to the upper level. This level also has a butler’s pantry and a mudroom.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, a triple walk-in closet and a luxury bath. Three more bedrooms, a second full bath and a laundry room complete this level.

Options include finished lower levels, additional bedrooms and baths, room extensions, and tray and coffered ceilings.
