Three men were shot overnight in the District, but none were killed.

Two men were shot on the 4700 block of Alabama Avenue Southeast late Tuesday night.

District police said one man was shot in the leg. The other was shot in the eye and was in critical condition.
Police said they believe they were shot by two black men, wearing all black.

In a separate incident, a man was shot early Wednesday morning on Benning Road Southeast and taken to a local hospital, District police said.

Authorities believe he was shot by a black male.

The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Benning Road and G Street.

No further details were available.
