Police have arrested and charged a man with killing a neighbor in Riverdale Park last week.
Kobina Ebo Abruquah, 40, of Riverdale Park was arrested on Friday and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Ivan Alvaro Aguirre-Herrera.
According to the Prince George's County police department blog, police interviewed Mr. Abruquah about the death of his neighbor. Both men lived on the 6200 block of Kenilworth Avenue. After questioning, police took Mr. Abruquah into custody. He is being held without bail.
Police found Mr. Aguirre-Herrera dead when they went to his home to check on his welfare late Wednesday afternoon.
