A man was found fatally shot inside a Riverdale home Wednesday afternoon, according to Prince George’s County police.
Police responded to a home in the 6200 block of Kenilworth Avenue around 4:30 p.m., after someone called to ask officers to check on the welfare of someone there, county police spokesman Cpl. Larry Johnson said. A 40-year-old man was found dead inside. Police have not released his name.
The house is located on a busy street and police are asking anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity there to call police.
No further details were available Wednesday evening.
