Montgomery County police are investigating a Monday night homicide in the Briggs Chaney area of Silver Spring.
According to a press release, police responded to a report of shots fired near 13920 Castle Blvd. at 9:56 p.m. They found a dead man with trauma to the body on a paved path behind the address.
Police did not release the victim’s name or age on Tuesday. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
