D.C. police have identified a 20-year-old man who was fatally shot Sunday evening.
Jeffrey Ray Tyson of Southeast was shot around 9 p.m. Sunday in the 5300 block of E Street Southeast. Police responded to the area for a sound of gunshots and found Mr. Tyson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds,
Metropolitan Police Department officials said. He died at a hospital.
Police have not released any description of the shooting suspect.
