After the pre-screening, there was a deep sigh among SEALs about their comrades’ acting ability. With one notable exception of a SEAL who pulls off a completely improvised interrogation scene, the SEALs thought their colleagues’ acting was pretty clumsy. But they admit they’ve heard each other talk like that _ awkward, heartfelt goodbyes to loved ones they won’t see for months or stilted speeches before an operation. But they hope the audience will be forgiving.

The Bandito Brothers say the critics they most feared were the guys with whom they made the film.

“We had one goal: that the guys would want to share a beer with us afterwards,” said McCoy. “And we still are.”
