Mr. Gingrich’s complaint that he had been “Romney-boated” by his rival’s mega-dollar negative ad blitz, an allusion to the “swift-boating” that plagued Democratic 2004 nominee Sen. John Kerry, brought a retort from Mr. Robinson.

“Any one of our candidates will be ‘Obama-boated,’ and they better get ready for it,” he said.
