LETTER TO THE EDITOR: A ‘beautiful spirit’

Story Topics

I still remember the story Tony Blankley told about his lost peacock and how he tramped through the hills and valleys to find his missing fowl.

When he found the bird at a neighbor’s house, he carried it all the way home in his arms. Just recently, I was going through some old papers and found another clipping that I had saved of one of Mr. Blankley’s articles, exhorting Americans to be strong with the song, “Over There.”

Mr. Blankley was a great man who will be missed by everyone who came in contact with his beautiful spirit. Thank you to The Washington Times for appreciating his sweet soul.
