“It all depends on the situation — who’s playing well, who they’re playing, what I think’s good for us,” Turgeon said. “The most important thing is in our small lineup, we’re playing better.”

NOTES:Turgeon is 1-2 in his career against Miami coach Jim Larranaga. The two met when Turgeon was at Wichita State and Larranaga was at George Mason, with one of Turgeon’s losses coming in the 2006 regional semifinals.

• Maryland is 0-5 at Miami since the Hurricanes joined the ACC. Home teams are 9-1 in regular-season meetings in the series since 2005.
