In a thrilling overtime victory over the Sacramento Capitals, the Washington Kastles extended their undefeated streak to 23 matches Wednesday night at Kastles Stadium at The Wharf.
Following a strong performance in men’s doubles from Leander Paes and Bobby Reynolds and then a 5-0 perfect match for Anastasia Rodionova in women’s singles, the Kastles were able to force overtime. Paes and Rodionova’s mixed-doubles play helped them secure the 21-19 win.
The Kastles will welcome Chris Evert and the Orange County Breakers to D.C. on Friday night.
