Emmy nominations for TV drama series

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Primetime Emmy nominations for best television drama series have been announced in Los Angeles by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

The nominees announced Thursday morning are: “Boardwalk Empire,” “Breaking Bad,” “Downton Abbey,” “Game of Thrones,” “Homeland” and “Mad Men.”

The 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented Sept. 23 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and airing live on ABC.
