Two dead in Oakton murder-suicide

Two men are dead after a murder-suicide Wednesday night in Oakton.

Fairfax County police said 43 year-old Ihab R. Qutob was found dead from a gunshot wound in a home at 3051 Trevor House Drive. Alexander A. Rios, 27, was also found in the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.

Police responded to reports of shots fired around 7 p.m.

A handgun was found at the scene.

Police said the investigation is continuing and an autopsy will be conducted, but all indications suggest the killing was a murder and suicide.
