Police offer reward in Southeast homicide

District police detectives are investigating an early Friday morning fatal shooting in Southeast.

Officers responded to the 2300 block of Park Place at approximately 1:17 a.m. and found an unidentified male unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

When D.C. fire and emergency medical personnel examined the victim at the scene, he had no signs of life, police said. The victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and pronounced dead.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest of the people responsible. Police ask anyone with information call (202) 727-9099.
